I’m in the golden age of golf. It is transforming from an exclusive property of rich middle-aged men to a popular sport enjoyed by both men and women. A typical golf injury is ‘golf elbow’. If you bend your wrist too much or turn the club clockwise strongly during the backswing, the risk of “hand tendonitis”(an inflammation of your joints) increases. Carpal tunnel syndrome, well known as ‘hand tunnel syndrome’, also occurs frequently in golfers. In severe cases, there may be cracks in the egret (carval bone) of the wrist bone. Whenever I hold a club or swing, the pain gets bigger.
You often hurt your shoulder or back when you are backswinging.
